Dhaka, Mar 4 (Just News): Professor Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, who sustained serious injuries in knife attack on the campus of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) on Saturday afternoon, is now feeling well and out of danger, said a doctor of Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
His mental health condition is also well, said Major General Munshi Md Mujibur Rahman, consultant surgeon general and director general of medical services at CMH at a press briefing.
Visitors have been restricted to avoid any kind of infection, said the doctor seeking help from all.
There are four injury marks in his head, one in left hand and one in backside, he said.
The doctor said that the eminent writer received injuries on the skin and muscles of his head.
Dr Zafar Iqbal is now undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka.
