Dhaka, Mar 29 (Just News): Three people were killed and six others injured when a bus plunged into a roadside ditch on Dhaka-Sylhet highway at Pitua in Nabiganj upazila of Habiganj on Thursday.
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The accident took place in the area around 10:30am when a Habiganj-bound bus from Sylhet fell into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving three killed on the spot and six others injured, said highway police camp officer-in-charge Bimal Chandra Bhoumik.
The injured were taken to Sylhet Osmani Medical College hospital.
