Dhaka, Jun 12 (Just News): BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's younger brother today wrote to the home ministry seeking better treatment for her.
In a letter Shameem Iskander, younger brother of the BNP chief, requested the concerned authorities to take Khaleda Zia to city’s United Hospitals Ltd for her treatment.
The letter was sent to the home ministry this noon, said a source of BNP chairperson's media wing.
All expenses of her treatment will be covered by her brother, the letter added, said Syrul Kabir.
Khaleda Zia was supposed to be taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) today, but the schedule has been cancelled as she refused to go to BSMMU.
She wants to be taken to United Hospitals Ltd in Dhaka, Inspector General (IG) of Prisons Brig Gen Syed Iftekhar Uddin said this morning.
