JS body for raising age limit to 35 in civil service

Dhaka, June 27 (Just News): A parliamentary body today recommended raising the age ceiling in civil service to 35 years, what has been a long demand of the students.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Administration Ministry came up with the recommendation at a meeting held at the Jatiya Sangsad, a release of the parliament secretariat said.

Earlier, on June 6, Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam told parliament that the government has no plan to raise the age limit for entering government jobs to 35 years.

Currently, the age limit for entering the public service is 30 years.
