Dhaka, July 10 (Just News): Firefighters recovered the bodies of three, out of the five people who went missing after a trawler hit an anchored launch on the river Shitalakkhya in Narayanganj Sunday night.
The deceased were identified as Deen Islam, 35, Emon, 22 and Falan, 35.
Their bodies were recovered from Fire Kheyaghat and Central Kheyaghat of the city around 9:00am in the morning.
Two people still remain missing, the official said.
The trawler with 80-100 passengers was going to Madanganj Kheya Ghat from the city's Central Kheya Ghat. When the vessel took a turn, it hit the launch anchored at the central berthing point. Some passengers of the trawler fell into the river and swam ashore.
