Dhaka, Dec 18 (Just News) : A total of 1016 platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed in different parts of the country, including the capital, ahead of the national election slated for December 30.
BGB Pilkhana headquarters Public Relations Officer (PRO) Mohsin Reza confirmed the matter.
The border guards were deployed at different parts of the country in the morning to assist administration to avert untoward incidents centring the polls, he said.
