Dhaka, Jan 1 (Just News): Fire burnt a slum in the capital’s Tejturi Bazar area Monday afternoon.
No casualty was reported immediately.
The fire originated at the market around 12:25pm, said a duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence control room.
The firefighters brought the blaze under control around 12:55pm, he said. Seven firefighting units were working to extinguish the flame, the duty officer added.
The cause of fire could not be known immediately.
