Dhaka, Jan 9 (Just News): The operation of mobile court by the executive magistrate will continue until settlement of three appeals filed by the government against the High Court (HC) verdict over the mobile court act.
A five-member bench of the Appellate Division led by acting Chief Justice Abdul Wahhab Miah came up with the order on Tuesday.
Besides, the court fixed 16 January for next hearing.
On 3 January last, the Supreme Court (SC) fixed today for hearing of the appeals.
On 11 May, the HC declared illegal of the operation of mobile court by the executive magistrate and later on 14 May after hearing on a government appeal the chamber judge stayed until 18 May.
Later, the SC extended the time for several times.
