Dhaka, Jan 25 (Just News): The government on Thursday appointed additional inspector general of police (special branch) Mohammad Javed Patwary as inspector general of police (IGP).
The home ministry has issued a gazette notification in this regard.
Javed Patwary will replace AKM Shahidul Hoque.
The gazette notification, signed by Md Ilias Hossain, deputy secretary (police) of home ministry, will be effective from 31 January as incumbent IGP Shahidul’s tenure will expire on the day.
