Dhaka, Jan 28 (Just News): The High Court on Sunday rejected the writ petition that filed challenging the inaction of the authorities to fill the post of the Chief Justice.
The HC bench of Justice Zinat Ara and Justice Kazi Md Ejarul Haque Akondo passed the order saying 'not placed reject'.
Earlier on January 3, Advocate Eunus Ali Akond submitted the petition to the HC seeking it directives why the inaction of the authorities to fill the post of the Chief Justice should not be declared unconstitutional.
The post of Chief Justice fell vacant for more than two months following resignation of Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha on November 10 last year.
