Hasina’s statements expose her ‘delirious’ mind: BNP

Dhaka, May 3 (Just News): Bangladesh Nationalist Party on Thursday claimed that prime minister Sheikh Hasina’s statements made at a news conference on Wednesday exposed her ‘autocracy voice’ and ‘delirious mind’.

BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi at a news briefing at the party’s central office came up with the remarks.

He said the prime minister stated that BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia is in prison following convicted by court and here the government has nothing to do with this.

‘The prime minister’s statement in the press conference is the exposure of delirious mind. This is voice of autocrat ruler’, senior joint secretary Rizvi said.

Referring to the prime minister comment about BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman, Rizvi questioned how she (Sheikh Hasina) became president of Awami League in 1981 ‘superseded’ many senior leaders.

He said Tarique became the party’s senior vice-chairman step by step starting from member.

Rizvi criticised the prime minister for remarks about those who took part in recent movement of quota reform in public service.
