Law enforcers’ business over murder on before Eid: BNP

Dhaka, May 26 (Just News): Bangladesh Nationalist Party on Saturday claimed that ‘good business’ of law enforcement agencies are now going on before Eid-ul-Fitr by intimidating killing and killing innocent people in the name of current anti-drug drive.

BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi at a news briefing at the party’s central office made the allegation, saying so far law enforcers killed 75 people extra-judicially in the name of anti-narcotics drive across the country.

He said now leaders and activists of the opposition including BNP gradually were being killed and making target anew.

Rizvi said there are allegations of many families that police picked up the innocent people and killed extra-judicially in night failing to give money demanded by the law enforcers.

He said in one hand conspiracy of the government to frighten people was being implemented, on the other hand good business of law enforcers was going on before Eid by killing innocent people and intimidating of killing.

Rizvi said the government creates scope in each Eid season for such good business for law enforcers.

‘Now besides arrest business, killing business is going on,’ the BNP leader said.
