Mega budget placed for looting finally: BNP

Dhaka, Jun 8 (Just News): Bangladesh Nationalist Party has claimed that the government has placed the proposed mega national budget for looting money ahead of the general election.

BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the allegation at a news briefing at the party central office in Dhaka on Friday.

Rizvi claims that people were frustrated as the proposed budget was not people- oriented.

He alleged that the government was bluffing people by increasing the size of the budget.

Rizvi said all paths were kept open for committing corruption in the proposed budget.

He said the big deficit in the proposed budget was impossible to meet, saying the budget was tax, loan and foreign grant dependent.

The BNP leader said the incumbent government was frequently speaking about digital Bangladesh but imposing tax on using internet, youtube, facebook and google had been proposed in the budget.

Rizvi said that BNP totally rejected the proposed budget.

Finance minister AMA Muhith on Thursday placed the proposed national budget with over Tk 4,64,000 crore for 2018-19 fiscal at the parliament.
