Dhaka, Nov 4 (Just News): The schedule for the 11th parliamentary election will be announced on November 8, said Election Commissioner Brig Gen (retd) Shahadat Hossain Chowdhury.
He made the disclosure while briefing reporters after a meeting of the commission on poll schedule held at the Election Commission office in Agargaon area on Sunday.
The decision of the Election Commission came barely a day after Jatiya Oikyafront wrote to the commission not to announce the national polls schedule until Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina completes her dialogue with all political parties and alliances.
