Dhaka, Jan 11 (Just News): Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s lawyer on Thursday said that Anti-Corruption Commission has failed to prove any allegations of graft against his client while placing the defence argument in Zia orphanage graft case.

Khaleda Zia’s lawyer Zamir Uddin Sarkar concluded his defence argument this afternoon and pleaded before the court saying, ‘Khaleda seeks justice, deliver her a true justice.’

Dhaka Fifth Special Judge’s Court judge Md Akhtaruzzaman adjourned the argument hearing for today and ordered to place rest of the argument on January 16, 17 and 18.

On August 8, 2011, the commission filed the Zia Charitable Trust graft case with Tejgaon Police Station accusing four people, including Khaleda Zia, of abuse of power in raising funds for the trust from unknown sources.
