Another wicket gone, John Kelly!

White House Correspondent, Washington, Dec 9 (Just News): In cricket term is wicket. One after another wicket is coming to peach for facing the baller but not sustaining. Finally back to pavilion. White House staffer or top officials of the administration like one day international cricket matches. This time is the turn for White House Chief of Staff General John Kelly.

White House chief of staff John Kelly will be leaving his position at the end of the year, President Donald Trump confirmed the reporters at the White House on Saturday afternoon.

“John Kelly will be leaving – I don’t know if I can say ‘retiring.’ But, he’s a great guy. John Kelly will be leaving at the end of the year. We’ll be announcing who will be taking John’s place…I’ll be announcing that over the next day or two. But, John will be leaving at the end of the year. He’s been with me almost two years now...John Kelly will be leaving toward the end of the year, at the end of the year.”

Trump noted Kelly had been with him for almost two years in his roles as chief of staff and secretary of homeland security.

“I appreciate his service very much,” Trump said.

On Mueller the US President said, “On the Mueller situation, we’re very happy with what we are reading because there was no collusion whatsoever. The last thing I want is help from Russia on a campaign. You should ask Hillary Clinton about Russia.”

Trump described it as a “very one-sided situation but I think it’s all turning around very nicely.”

Kelly's expected departure means Mr Trump will have had three chiefs of staff and three national security advisers since taking office in January 2017
