Dhaka, Apr 1(Just News): Bangladesh U-15 women’s team emerge champions in the four-nation Jockey CGI Youth Football Tournament when they beat hosts Hong Kong 6-0 their third and final game today.
Striker Tohura Khatun scored a hattrick in a game where the Bangladesh girls lead the first half 3-0. It was a tournament where Bangladesh rained in goals in every game. They thumped Malaysia 10-1 in their opening game before handing Iran a 8-0 defeat.
Tohura started the goal-rush in the fourth minute before scoring in the 40th and 74th minute to complete her second successive hattrick. Bangladesh went into the game needing at least a draw to win the championship, but they completed a satisfying campaign with yet another dazzling display after their SAF dominance.
