Afridi nets maiden T10 hattrick

Dhaka, Dec 15 (Just News): Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi grabbed a hattrick with his first three balls in T10 cricket as Pakhtoons beat Maratha Arabians by 25 runs in the inaugural T10 League at Sharjah on Thursday.

Batting first, Pakhtoons made 121 for 4 thanks to Fakhar Zaman's 45 and Liam Dawson's 44.

Maratha Arabians were then restricted to 96 for 7 as Alex Hales' unbeaten 57 off 26 went in vain.

Afridi bagged the hattrick by first making Rilee Rossouw give a catch to Najibullah Zadran and then trapping Dwayne Bravo and Virender Sehwag leg before the wicket in consecutive balls.

Mohammad Irfan and Sohail Khan also bagged two each for the Pakhtoons.
