Renowned dance artist Zeenat Barkatullah has been put on ventilator support in the ICU at a private hospital in Dhaka.
Her daughter, actress Bijori Barkatullah disclosed the matter through a social media post on Saturday evening.
In the post, she said: "My mother Zinnat Barkatullah is in the ICU ventilation with a critical condition. I ask everyone to pray for my mother. Almighty Allah Rahmanur Rahim has mercy on my mother and heals her pain.”
Zeenat Barkatullah had contracted coronavirus in July. Although she recovered from the disease, she had to return to the hospital due to various old age complications.
Earlier on August 3, her husband, famous TV personality Mohammad Barkatullah, died. He was also diagnosed with Covid-19.
