A Dhaka court today granted bail to film actress Pori Moni in a narcotics case.
Judge KM Emrul Kayesh of the Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court granted her bail -- considering her age, health and reputation in the film industry -- till submission of the police probe report.
There is no bar on her release from jail following the court order, said Pori Moni's lawyer Mojibur Rahman.
On August 5, Pori Moni and her associate Ashraful Islam Dipu were shown arrested in a case filed by the Rapid Action Battalion under Narcotics Control Act.
