Shah Rukh Khan's son walks out of jail

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son has walked out of jail on Saturday, nearly a month after his arrest in a drug case on October 2.

The actor's bodyguard reportedly picked up Aryan Khan and directed him to a car where Sharukh waited in front of Arthur Road Jail, local media reported.

Aryan arrived at his family home 'Mannat' where fans gathered with "welcome home Aryan Khan" posters.

Aryan had been in judicial custody since October 8.

The Mumbai High Court granted bail to the 23-year-old on Thursday. However, he spent an extra night in jail as his bail papers missed the 5.30pm deadline on Friday.

On Friday, Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla, a close friend and co-star of Shah Rukh, went to the sessions court in Mumbai and signed Aryan's bail bond of 100,000 rupees.

The other accused Gomit Chopra,Arbaaz Merchantt and Munmun Dhamecha -- who were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) -- have also been granted bail.

Prosecutors opposed the bail arguing Aryan was not a first-time offender and that he attempted to deal with commercial quantity.

Among the 14 bail conditions imposed by the Mumbai High Court are that Aryan, his friend Arbaaz Merchant, and model Munmum Dhamecha can't leave the country and make any attempt to influence any witness in the case. They were also asked to submit their passports to the court.

Aryan, particularly, has been asked to visit the federal anti-narcotics agency's Mumbai office every Friday and join investigations whenever required. If any of the conditions is violated, his bail could be cancelled.

Aryan, Arbaaz, Munmum and five others were detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau after a raid on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai on October 2.

During the raid, the agency claimed to have seized 13 grams of cocaine, five grams of mephedrone, 21 grams of charas (cannabis), 22 pills of MDMA (ecstasy) and 130,000 rupees in cash from the ship.
