The United States wishes a speedy and full recovery to former Prime Minister of Bangladesh and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia who is hospitalized with a critical health condition.
“We wish former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia a speedy and full recovery,” said a State Department spokesperson on Thursday.
The spokesperson made this comment in reply to a question on the former Prime minister critical health condition, asked by the State Department correspondent Mushfiqul Fazal Ansarey.
Former prime minister Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital city Dhaka on April 27 night after testing Covid positive and with breathing problems.
Today she tested negative for Covid but suffering with other complicated health issues. Her family applied to the government to shifting her abroad for the better treatment. The government yet not give the approval as Khaleda Zia’s movement restricted by the authorities.
