Dhaka, Mar 5 (Just News): A BNP delegation, led by its secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, met US President Donald Trump's deputy assistant Lisa Curtis here on Sunday.
The hour-long meeting that began around 2:45pm was held at US Ambassador Marcia Bernicat's Gulshan residence, a BNP leaders told UNB wishing anonymity.
BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and party vice chairman Abdul Awal Mintoo accompanied Fakhrul at the meeting.
They, however, declined to talk to reporters after the meeting.
Lisa Curtis arrived here on Friday morning on a three-day official visit and discussed bilateral issues, including security and the Rohingya crisis. She also visited Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar.
