Students aged 18 and above can register for Covid-19 vaccination through the Surokkha app, said health department officials today.
Although the age bar has been lowered to 18 for students, the minimum age to register for vaccination remains 25 and above for ordinary citizens.
Professor Mizanur Rahman, director of the health department's Management Information Centre (MIS), said students should select the "student" option under the "occupation" category when registering on Surokkha.
Those who have filled in the "job" field as "student" at the time of registration will be able to register themselves.
