Health minister Zahid Maleque on Monday said that the authorities were now waiting for approval of the World Health Organisation for the Covid-19 vaccination of age group 12-17.
‘We have sought approval of WHO to vaccinate the children from 12 years to 17 years. Our technical committee is also working on a proposal for this,’ said the minister.
People aged 18 and above are now eligible for Covid-19 vaccination.
