Train services on Dhaka-Chattogram route remain suspended after a freight train derailed in Tongi, Gazipur this morning.
Stationmaster of Airport Rail Station Halimuzzaman said three bogies of a Dhaka-bound goods-laden train from Chattogram veered off the tracks around 10:30am, halting train movement on the route.
A rescue train is expected to reach the spot within a short time, our Gazipur correspondent reports quoting the stationmaster.
No casualty was reported.
