The bodies of a woman and her two children were recovered from their flat on the fourth floor of a building in Muradpur area of Chattogram city this morning.
The deceased were identified as Sumita Khatun, her seven-year-old daughter Jannatun Ainun and two-and-half-year old son Shan Babu, additional deputy commissioner (ADC) (North zone) of Chattogram Police.
Police found the bodies of the mother and the son hanging from the ceiling while the body of the daughter was on the bed, he said.
Sumita's husband Sohel Rana, a herbal medicine businessman, was detained for interrogation in this connection, said the ADC
