At least seven persons were injured, including four with burn injuries, after a fire broke out at Mugda Medical College Hospital in Dhaka this noon.
They were rushed to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery and Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
The fire originated around 12:30pm at a building of the hospital. Seven firefighting units worked for around half an hour in order to control the blaze, Nazma Akhter, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters, said.
Cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
