Biman plane makes emergency landing

Dhaka, Mar 20 (Just News): A domestic flight of national flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines made emergency landing in Dhaka airport today, just a week into the tragic US-Bangla plane crash in Nepal.

A Saidpur bound Dash-8 took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka, at around 12:28pm, an official of the airport’s control tower said this requesting anonymity.

“The small-bodied aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at the airport around 12:50pm as it faced pressure problems in its engine”, he added.

All the passengers and crew members were reportedly safe after the technical glitch.

The incident comes just a week after the US-Bangla Airlines plane crash in Kathmundu, Nepal, where 51 persons including 28 Bangladeshi nationals died during landing.
