The Dhaka University authorities have decided to resume in-person classes for the first-year students from February 22, maintaining health safety guidelines.
Besides, the scheduled examinations will be held as per the routine, said a DU press release today.
The university authorities will also take action to resume in-person classes for all the years if the Covid situation improves by this time, reports our campus correspondent quoting DU Vice Chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman.
"if the Covid-19 situation improves by February 22, then we will take initiative to resume in-person classes for all years' students," the VC said.
DU authorities on January 21, suspended in-person classes till February 6 following the government decision amid a surge in Covid-19 cases. Later, it was extended till February 21.
