Sylhet, Mar 26 (Just News): A youth was stabbed to death at Kadamtali Bus Stand area in Sylhet city last night.
The deceased has been identified as Mahid Al Salam, 26, of Madina Market area and a former student of Economics department of Shahjalala University of Science and Technology, Khairul Fazal, officer-in-charge of Dakshin Surma Police Station said.
A rickshaw puller found him critically injured at Kadamtali area on Sunday night around 1:00am and were taking him to Hospital, the OC said.
Police found them near the Kean Bridge area and rushed the youth to MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, but he died, the OC said.
“He had several deep stabs in his thigh. But it is not sure who stabbed him,” the OC added.
Quoting his family members, the OC said that he went to Kadamtali Bus Stand area to board a bus to Dhaka.
