SSC and equivalent exams will begin on September 15, 2022, Education Minister Dipu Moni said today (July 17, 2022).
Dipu Moni revealed this information in a press briefing at the Secretariat.
There is a possibility of flood in mid-August, that is why the exam date has been fixed in September, the minister said.
The exam will be held on full syllabus, she added.
On June 17, the government postponed this year's SSC and equivalent exams for an indefinite period owing to the worsening flood situations in Sylhet region.
The exams were set to begin on June 19 and end on July 6. It was delayed by about four months due to Covid-19 pandemic. Usually, SSC exams take place in February.
