The High Court today (August 17, 2022) wanted to know what facilities, including salary and allowances, Dhaka Wasa Managing Director Taqsem A Khan received in the last 13 years.
The HC also issued a rule asking the respondents why the government's inaction to remove Taqsem should not be declared illegal for his failure to discharge his duties properly.
In response to a writ petition, the HC bench of Justice Md Mojibur Rahman Miah and Justice Kazi Md Ejarul Haque Akondo issued the rule today.
The petition was filed by Architect Mobasher Hossain, convener of the Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB).
