Dhaka, Oct 15 (JustNews) : Customs officials arrested a Malaysian national along with seven kilograms of gold at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here on Sunday night.
The arrestee is Cyan Gi Kiong, 47.
Othello Chowdhury, deputy commissioner of Dhaka Customs Office, said the Malaysian citizen landed at the airport from a flight, OD166 of Malindo Air, at 10:00pm.
On information, the team challenged him after he crossed the green channel and recovered seven gold bars worth around 350 million searching his jacket, said the official.
