Dhaka, Oct 23 (Just News): Gono Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain has expressed his concern over the government’s recent activities and said it might be hampered the country’s congenial political environment.
“We are worried over the government’s recent activities and we are afraid of destroying the country’s smooth political atmosphere,” Kamal Hossain also a top leader of the Jatiya Oikyafront came up with the remarks in a press statement today.
In the statement, Kamal Hossain said political leaders and activists are being harassed and arrested on different excuses which is unexpected.
“I along with my colleagues have formed the Jatiya Oikyafront with the political parties those believe in the spirit of the Liberation War to take part in the general election in a disciplined way,” he said.
“Unfortunately, we are worried over the government’s recent activities,” Kamal Hossain said in the statement signed by Gono Forum Organising Secretary Moshtak Ahmed.
However, Kamal Hossain, in the statement, did not mention any specific reason on which ground he came up with such statement.
