Oikyafront sits with editors

Dhaka, Nov 16 (Just News): Top brass of Jatiya Oikyafront held a meeting with editors of different print media at a hotel in Dhaka this afternoon to discuss the role of media ahead of the 11th parliamentary election scheduled for December 30.

The view-exchange meeting was held at Hotel Lakeshore around 3:30pm.

Jatiya Oikyafront key leader Dr Kamal Hossain, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, its senior leaders Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Moudud Ahmed, JSD president Abdur Rob, Nagorik Oikya convenor Mahmudur Rahman Manna, among others, attended the programme.

Prothom Alo editor Matiur Rahman, New Age editor Nurul Kabir, Manabzamin editor Matiur Rahman Chowdhury, News Today editor Moslemuddin Ahmed, bdnews24 editor-in-chief Toufique Imrose Khalidi, Dhaka Tribune editor Zafar Sobhan, Holiday editor Kamaluddin Ahmed, weekly Saptahik editor Golam Mortaza, among others, were also present.

After emerging from the meeting, Toufique Imrose Khalidi told reporters that the Jatiya Oikyafront will have to decide who will be prime minister if the alliance is voted to power.
