Dhaka, Nov 26 (Just News) : The Election Commission has decided to use electronic voting machines at all polling centres in six constituencies.
The constituencies are Dhaka 6, Dhaka 13, Chattogram 9, Rangpur 3, Khulna 2 and Satkhira 2, said the commission secretary Helaluddin Ahmed.
He said the commission picked the constituencies through a random sampling process in presence of journalists.
The commission secretary said the commission also decided for round the clock monitoring social media contents to prevent propaganda and smear campaign. Anyone involved with such acts would face action as per existing laws.
