Dhaka, Dec 18 (Just News) : Eight workers sustained burn injuries as melted iron fell on them at a steel factory in the Dhaka’s Shyampur on Monday evening.
The injured are Afsar, 40, Alamin, 25, Labu, 25, Mannan, 26, Jahangir, 28, Aziz, 35, Shah Alam, 35, and Abdul Latif, 30.
Melted iron accidentally fell on a group of workers around 7:30pm when they were working at Kadamtali Steel Mills Pvt Ltd at Kadamtali, leaving eight of them injured, said sub-inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost.
The condition of five of them is critical, the SI added.
