85.83pc students pass JSC exams, 89.04pc JDC

Dhaka, Dec 24 (Just News) : The results of Junior School Certificate (JSC), Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) and Primary Education Completion (PEC) and its equivalent Ebtedayee examinations have been handed to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday morning.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the copy of results of Junior School Certificate (JSC), Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations and Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman the copy of the results of PEC examination to the Prime Minister around 10:15am.

The results of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) Examinations-2018 were published on Monday with 83.65 per cent pass rate in JSC and 89.04pc in JDC exams.

This year, 68,095 students secured GPA-5, the Education Ministry sources said.

As many as 26, 70,333 students from 29,677 educational institutions appeared in this year’s JSC and JDC examinations. Of them, 12, 23,732 are male and 14, 46,601 are female students.

The number of JSC students was 22, 67,343 as 4,02,990 students participated in the JDC examination this year.
