At least 20 people were injured as readymade garment workers clashed with law enforcers in Savar, on the outskirts area of Dhaka, on the third consecutive day of their protest over the disparity in pay in the new wage structure.
The clash ensued when police fired several teargas shells and charged batons on the workers who tried to take position on a road in Hemayetpur area 8:30am, witnesses said.
