Khulna, Dec 27 (Just News) : A police constable was arrested allegedly for taking toll forcibly from two people in front of Shishu Park in the city on Tuesday night.
The arrestee was identified as constable Miraz Hossain.
Officer-in-charge of Khalishpur Police Station Nasim Khan said Miraz waylaid a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in front of Shishu Park in the night and took Tk 3,000 from two of its passengers forcibly.
Later, the victims came to Khalishpur Police Station and lodged a complaint with the OC.
Following the complaint, police arrested Miraz.
