The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast rain and thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty and squally wind at many places over the country, including Dhaka, for the next three days.
The Met office also forecast that rainfall activity may increase and southwest monsoon may advance up to Teknaf coast in the next 72 hours.
In its latest forecast today, the Bangladesh Met office said rain and thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Dhaka, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Khulna division.
Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, according to the Bangladesh Met office.
