A mobile court by Bangladesh railway has fined 26 passengers for travelling without tickets.
The executive magistrate and deputy secretary of the Ministry of Railways conducted the drive from around 10:30am to 1pm on Monday.
They fined a total of Tk4,600 from these 26 people.
Md Supiar Rahman, administrative officer of the Ministry of Railways, said: "Most of the people fined were travelling without tickets, and some have entered the platform illegally."
"The magistrate fined them according to the Railway Act, 1890," the admin officer added.
