Two separate High Court benches today refused to hear a writ petition that sought its directive on the law enforcers to arrest in 24 hours all the accused in a case filed over the murder of Rifat Sharif in Barguna.

The bench of Justice Moyeenul Islam Chowdhury and Justice Md Ashraful Kamal declined to hear the petition saying that the law enforcers have reportedly arrested some of the accused and are trying to arrest the others, said Advocate Eunus Ali Akond.

He said another HC bench of Justice of Justice Sheikh Hassan Arif and Justice Razik-Al-Jalil also refrained from hearing the same petition and advised Eunus Ali to move the petition before another bench.
