Priya Saha’s comments to US President Donald Trump are absolutely false, said Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.
"Priya Saha's allegation was absolutely false. No one will agree with her. A sedition case will be filed against her. The process is underway," he said while talking to reporters at AL president's Dhanmondi political office on Saturday (Jul 20).
“None of the members of Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council are consentaneous with the comments. I, myself, talked with Rana Dasgupta, the head of the council of minorities, and he also echoed the same. They condemn her (Priya Saha) comments,” said the secretary general of ruling Awami League.
“The US envoy to Bangladesh Earl Robert Miller also marked the comments as baseless,” he added.
