Dhaka, Jan 11 (Just News): The ongoing mild to moderate cold wave is likely to continue for some more days, said Met office in its weather forecast on Thursday.
‘Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions and the regions of Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalgong, Mymensingh, Srimangal, Comilla, Feni, Sitakunda and Hatiya and it may continue,’ said a met office forecast here.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country during midnight till morning and it may continue till noon over northwestern part of the country while weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, it added.
Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Minimum temperature of the country was recorded today at 6.0 degree celsius at Jessore in Khulna division and maximum temperature at 25.8 degrees celsius on Wednesday at Teknaf in Chittagong division.
