Two people were killed and four injured when gas cylinder of a CNG-run ambulance exploded in Anwara upazila of Chattogram this afternoon.
The identities of the deceased – one male and one female -- could not be known immediately.
The ambulance was hired from Banshkhali upazila of the district for going to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH), our district correspondent reports quoting Dulal Mahmud, officer-in-charge of Anwara Police Station.
When the ambulance reached at Chatori Choumohony around 3:45pm, the gas cylinder exploded with a big bang, the OC said.
