hree people were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between an ambulance and a bus at Bachurbanda area of Taragonj upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified was Biplob, 20, Shathi Akhtar, 25, both passengers of the ambulance and Rubel, 30, its driver.
All of them died on the spot after the ambulance collided with a Syedpur-bound bus of Dipjol Paribahan around 7am, said Golam Kibria, officer-in-charge of Taragonj Highway Police Station.
The injured are being treated at Rangpur Medical College Hospital, he added.
