Two women have been killed in a road accident in Dhaka's Mohakhali area.
The accident took place early Wednesday, reports UNB.
The deceased are Syeda Kochi, 38, and Sonia, 25.
The accident took place around 1:30am when an unidentified vehicle hit the scooter carrying them near Setu Bhaban, leaving them injured, duty officer of Banani police station Fazal Islam said.
They were taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where the doctors pronounced them dead, DMCH police outpost in-charge Inspector Bachchu Mia confirmed.
