The country has been witnessing a mild heatwave in several regions on Monday, and it may continue for the coming week.
“Mild heatwave is sweeping over the regions of Faridpur, Madaripur, Sitakunda, and Rangamati, and it may continue,” said Bangladesh Meteorological Department’s daily weather bulletin on Monday.
It also mentioned that the heatwave comes as the trough of westerly low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area while seasonal low lies over South Bay.
The bulletin also said weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
